Search Engine Optimizer (SEO) is the term used for optimizing your ranking within the organic search engine result, naturally or non-paid traffic. Google includes over 600 ranking factors within its main algorithm. About 10 of this factors account for 95% of ranking considerations. Search engines want to see that you are an ‘authority’ on a particular theme. Diluting a theme makes it harder to achieve great rankings. Search for high PR forum or website and subscribe to it. You don’t have to always check for PR of the website, just use PR checker plugins on browser.

Basic of SEO Campaign

In order to create a good SEO content, you will have to consider Keyword Research, Meta Data, Onsite Keywords, and Link Building.

Keyword Research

Use a research tool such as Google Keyword Tool to check for keyword ideas. If you want to write a content for SEO, use the keyword tools to get the idea on what often search by people on the internet. It might help in SEO rankings for your website content. Difficult generic phrase can take 9-12 months minimum to get top rankings. Long-tail phrases (more than 2 words) are easier but have less searches. Find phrases which are highly relevant to your product and services. Use a mix of few difficult phrases and some long tail phrases. Try to start with just a few then add more when you are successful. Always remember, search engine want to see a theme, don’t diversity too much.

Meta Data

Have a structured plan for which pages focus on your search phrases. Try to only target 2 – 3 phrases per pages. If you don’t have a page to used then create one. These landing page don’t have to be part of the website navigation.

Onsite Keywords

Don’t filled your site with repeated words as this is considered as spam. Mention them more than other phrases. Use them in navigation wherever possible.

Link Building

Spend at least three quarters of your SEO time link building. Contact as many sites as possible with related content who may link to you. Submit articles to ‘article submission’ websites and generate free back-links. Make sure to use all of your keywords when back-linking. Link to internal pages as well as you home page, stick to the structure you set up. Submit press release online for brand awareness and back-link at the same time. Internal linking also very important. Link word and phrases from within your website content to other pages and always varying the keywords within the anchor text.
